Michael Johnson Taylor Jr. Obituary

Michael Johnson Taylor Jr., 31, of Keyser, WV, went to rejoice with the Heavenly Father and his loving mother on Monday, November 25, 2019, at the Potomac Valley Hospital in Keyser.

Born on March 25, 1988, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Michael J. Taylor Sr., and the late Tracy Selene Gibson. Besides his mother, Michael was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, John and Elsie Flanagan, and his paternal grandparents, James and Thelma Taylor.

He was one of several siblings and loved them all unconditionally. Michael will be remembered for his generosity and overwhelming love for his family and especially for his siblings, nieces, nephews and cousins, another thing he will be greatly missed for is his contagious laughter. Michael demonstrated the true meaning of a person who says they would give the shirt off their back.

Surviving in addition to his father, Michael Sr., are nine sisters, Kachonda Taylor, Sierra Former, Ariel Booth, Crystal Robertson, Ka'Leah Gibson, Mariah Taylor, Tashay Smith, Breanna Robertson and Sasha Loving; and nine brothers, Wallace Booth, Jaconda Robertson, Clea Hatchett, Tre'Shou Hatcher, Octavius Taylor, Juelz Taylor, Azriel Taylor, Abanayah Taylor and Michael Warner; he is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Sherrizan Flanagan, and his paternal great-grandmother, Martha Woods; a special friend who was like a brother, Shakeem Barmore; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended friends.

Services will be conducted at the Ross Funeral Home, 801 Fairmont Ave, Fairmont, WV 26554, where friends will be received on Friday, December 6, 2019, with a wake being held from 11-12 p.m. with a funeral service starting directly at 12 p.m.
