She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Gardner and Carrie Gardner (Smootz); her husband Madison T. White, Sr.; her son Charles W. White; her grandson Robert F. Loar, III; and her siblings, Howard, Edgell, Herman, Branson Gardner, Maggie Diegel and Annie Stewart.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Dobry (John) of Keyser, Betty McCracken (Larry) of Robbinsville, NC and Madison T. White, Jr. (Susie) of Burlington, WV; her siblings, Olen E. Gardner of Carlisle, PA, Kathleen Wilt of Westernport, MD and Virginia Gunderson of Columbia, SC; her niece Sherry Stewart of Baltimore, MD; her close friend Jeff Beavers of Keyser; and her pet Dobry. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
