She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Hixenbaugh and Lola E. Hixenbaugh (Walters); her husband Russel L. Burgess; her granddaughter Savylla Yoder; her son-in-law Ben Pritts; and her siblings, Kathleen, Irvin, Marshall and Edwin Earl.
She is survived by: her children, Martha Lee Pritts of Keyser and Charles R. "Chuck" Burgess of New Creek; her grandson Benjamin Pritts (Kate Walker) of New Creek; and her great grandchild Mariah Pritts of Frostburg, MD. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
