She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Nichols and Thelma Nichols (Footen); her husband Irving "Doc" T. Athey; her son Gary Lemon; and her siblings, Robert, William Nichols and JoAnn Wilson.
She is survived by: her nephews, Bill Wilson (Andee) and Steve Nichols; her niece Shonnie Laughlin (Mike); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Matthew, Shari, Zack and Camden Laughlin; and her close friends, John B., Sue Lusk and Katie Roderick.
