He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmore Rogers and Ethel VanMeter Rogers; his former wife Bettyjean Baker Hoke; and his siblings, Dick, Robert Rogers, Virginia Lee Rogers, Betty Jean Rogers, Mary Lou Mauer and Delores Kent.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Baker Johnson, Leroy Rogers, Jr. (Robin), Kathy Rogers Beedle (Jeff), Mark Rogers and Daniel Rogers (Tehani); his child-in-law Pat Lunsford; his wife Pat; his grandchildren, Joshua and Christian Rogers; and his stepson Robert Lee Miller.
