He was predeceased by: his parent Joseph A. "Becky" Wensell; his wife Patricia A. Lewis Wensell (Woods); and his brother Richard R. Wensell. He is survived by: his parent Nina E. Wensell (Bobo); his stepchildren, Rhona Dyer (Rick) of Keyser and Daniel K. Bowman (Marsha) of McCoole, MD; and his siblings, James Michael Wensell of Keyser, Edward T. Wensell of Hedgesville, WV and Elinor J. Mantheiy (Bill) of Cumberland, MD.
