He was predeceased by: his parents, Pasquale "Patsy" and Julia Maria Balassone (Leombruno); his former wife Carolyn Balassone (Camp); and his brother Pasquale Balassone, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Mary Alexander Balassone (Willis); his children, Jean Balassone of Cincinnati, OH, Elizabeth Stryker, Lynn of Dayton, OH and Michael Balassone of Taos; his grandchildren, Vince Balassone, Zack Balassone, Andrew Stryker, Michael Herd, Julia Stryker-Turner and Kelly Luke; and his brother-in-law Ronnie Willis (Barbara). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
