He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Lewis and Erma Jane Lewis Davy (Keefer); his wives, Leigh Anne Lewis (Bishop) and Donna Lou Lewis (Viney); his brothers, Robert, Arthur and Everett "Bub" Lewis, Jr.; and also Lorraine Duckworth.
He is survived by: his children, Johnie A. Lewis, Jr. of Keyser and Trisha L. Mongold (Nathan) of Keyser; his stepchildren, Holly Sulser of Rawlings, MD, Joyce Viney of Westernport, MD and Tracy Torgent (JR) of Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Ryleigh Ann Lewis, Sean Tyler Rosedale, Piper Leighann Mongold and Dessel Hearl Mongold; and his siblings, Thomas Lewis of Keyser, Willie Lewis of Keyser, Sam Lewis of Keyser, Ed Davy of Keyser, Erma Mae Eversole of Keyser, Lena Bray of Keyser, Mary Delawder of Keyser, Dottie Gruber of Moorefield, WV. and Susan Lewis of Moorefield, WV..
