She was predeceased by: her parents, Josie Franklin and Emma Elsie Teets (Lantz); her former husband Ivan G. Ritchie; her siblings, Harold Teets, Irene Parker, Ellen Winkler, Alma Chittum and Lillian Yvonne Lechliter; and also Alfred Teets.
She is survived by: her husband Dyer C. Whetzel; her stepchildren, Pamela J. Sanders (Michael) of Keyser, Karla B. Bateson (Bill) of Westernport and Steve Whetzel (Kimberly "Kim") of Keyser; her brother John Teets (Debbie) of Richlands, VA; her stepgrandchildren, Angela Smith, Lauren Roots, Ryan Bateson, Ian Tysinger, Corey Whetzel and Kacee Foutz; her nieces, Alleda Taylor and Heather Ray; and her nephew JJ Crosco. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
