He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Ray Lewis and Mary Katherine Lewis (Laupert). He is survived by: his wife Diana L. Lewis (Johnson); his son James "J. C." Lewis, Jr. (Emily) of Westernport, MD; his grandchildren, Levi Lewis, Mercedes Lewis, Brayden Iliff, Landen Iliff, Maci Iliff and Caleb Lewis; and his sister Laura Miller (Tim) of Westernport. He is also survived by one niece and several nephews.
