He was predeceased by: his parent John William; and his siblings, John H. "Smokey" Bowman, Roy M. Bowman and Mary Messenger. He is survived by: his parent Violet Bowman (Bosley); his wife Bertha J. Bowman (Reed); his sons, Jeffrey Bowman (Tammy) of Cumberland, MD and Daniel Bowman of Keyser; and his brother Rick Bowman (Karen) of Keyser.
