With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Herbert Ray Gamble Jr. of Keyser, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 31, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Ray Gamble, Sr. and Cora Lee Gamble (Jennings); his daughter Cora Elizabeth Gamble; his adoptive son Floyd "Flip" Ferguson; and his siblings, Larry Gamble, Calvin Gamble, Mary Gamble and Carolyn Gamble.
He is survived by: his nieces, Janiah Layton and Jerni K.; his significant other Diane Elaine Owens; his children, Cheyeanne Gamble, Veronica Gamble, Tiffany Royal, Shri Royal, Shawn Lockett and Herbert "Bush" Royal; his grandchildren, Sierra Lockett, Kahmari Royal and Zy'King Royal; his brothers, Wayne Gamble (Wanda), James Gamble (Denise) and Roy Gamble; and his sister-in-law Jessica Smith.
