She was predeceased by: her parents, David Edmonson and Alice Edmonson (Henthorne); her husband John William Ward; and her great grandchild Anthony Ortt. She is survived by: her sons, John C. Ward (Beverly), Jeffrey W. Ward (Paula) and Joseph Scott Ward; her siblings, Charles Thruman, Verna Mae, Marjorie Sue, Alice Fay, James Phillip, Morris Randy, Lynn Ross, David Leroy, Linda Diane and Mary Elizabeth; her grandchildren, John, Holly, Jason Ward, Lucas, Jennifer, Amy Ward and Jason Green; and her great grandchildren, Benjamin Mele, Nathan and Nick Ortt. She is also survived by seventeen children.
