With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Virginia Waggoner of Keyser, West Virginia, born in Accident, Maryland, who passed away on April 3, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Orendorf and Susie Orendorf (Opel); her husbands, James "Snuff" Thompson and John Thomas Waggoner; her daughter Diane Marie Thompson; and her siblings, Nellie Yaste, Mable Platter, Bud and Harold Orendorf.
The family requests that memorial contributions be directed to WVU Medicine Hospice, an organization that helped immensely in providing comfort and medical assistance while she was cared for at home by her son and daughter-in-law.
