She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Harrison and Juanita Brandlen (Ervin) of Virginia; her husband John Edward Virts; her children, Carolyn Sue Virts and Gary Lee Virts; her grandson Donald C. Virts, II; and her siblings, Dortha Dawson, Charles and Ronald Brandlen.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry Edward Virts (Nancy) of Keyser and Donald Chris Virts (Sue) of Oakland, MD; her daughter-in-law Virginia Virts of Keyser; and her grandchildren, Crystal Dawn Paugh, Larry E. Virts, Jr. and Tina Lamm. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
At the request of the family, visitation and services conducted by Rev. Ivan Ackerman will be private due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The family requests that memorial contributions be directed to the Piney Valley Resident Activities Fund, 135 Southern Drive, Keyser, WV 26726.
