It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Alkire Jr. (Keyser, West Virginia), who passed away on October 13, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Gregory Scott Alkire; his parents, George D. Sr. Alkire and Fairy Booth Alkire; and his siblings, Catherine, Donald, Josephine and June.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Misch Alkire; his siblings, Sharon Myers (Mackie) and Billie Simpson; and his brother-in-law Gary Simpson.
Due to Covid limitations and Sally's auto immune disease there will be no immediate, larger memorial service.
