He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Helen Virts (Brendlen) of Keyser and John Virts; his sister Carolyn Sue Virts; his wife Virginia R. Simpson Virts (Kesner); his daughter Tina Lamm (Jeff) of Keyser; his stepchildren, Brenda Gough (Roger) of Keyser, Janet Northcraft of Keyser and Jeffery Scott Simpson of Keyser; his brothers, Donald Virts (Sue) of Oakland, MD and Larry Virts (Nancy) of Keyser; his grandson Micah Lee Virts; and his stepgrandchildren, Jeremy Gough, Renee Chambers, Brandon Gough, Lindsay Northcraft, Tori Simpson, Tia Simpson, Jeffery Scott Simpson, II and Amy Brill.
