She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lawrence Wilson and Harriet Edna Wilson Brumage (Dixon); her stepfather Clarence Brumage; her husband William T. Shahan; and her siblings, Nora Mason, Oma Leatherman, Lawrence "Bud" Wilson and Donald Brumage. She is also survived by her husband never had children, they adopted their nieces, nephews and their children.
