He was predeceased by: his parents, James Richard Braithwaite and Norma Lee Davy (Simmons); his sons, Dustin Braithwaite and Brian Anderson; his granddaughter Zoie Lynn Paugh; and his brothers, Sammy, Danny and Jimmy Braithwaite.
He is survived by: his children, Meritza Hall of Florida, Brittany Whetzel of Keyser, Justin Braithwaite of Cumberland, MD, Kayla Sneathen of Keyser and Jessica Rhodes of Burlington, WV; his stepdaughter Anita Myers; his grandchildren, Sadie Jackson, Kiah Meyers, Lilith Sneathen, Elizabeth Grady, Alainia Rhodes, Elijah Braithwaite and Dakota Braithwaite; and his siblings, Mark Braithwaite of Keyser, Sharon Brown of Florida and Betty Reall of Keyser. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
