He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Russell and Bernadine Maynard (Randells); his wife Rose Ann "Susie" Maynard (Niland); and his great grandchild Emree Lynne Cameron. He is survived by: his daughters, Dianne L. Smith (Todd) of Keyser and Cathy S. Harman (Craig) of Keyser; his grandchildren, Casey of Keyser, Nyssa Smith of Keyser, Kellon of Keyser, Kayla Smith of Keyser, Chelsea of Keyser, Jarell Ross of Keyser, Caitlin and Josh Cameron of Burlington, WV; his sister-in-law Sharon Niland; and his great grandchildren, Alyson Marie Smith, Austin Charles Smith, Aleah Beth Smith, Maddox David Cameron, Kasen Sean Smith, Keyan Leo Ross, Beckley Rose Cameron, Kinsley Marie Smith and Dax Pearsyn Rose. He is also survived by his family and friends.
