He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Liebig and Martha Liebig (Risch); his wife Jane Liebig; his son Dr. Carl W; his grandson Brian C. Liebig; his daughter-in-law Rita Liebig; his sisters, Vivian Earley and Maxine Liebig; and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Hoffman and Dr. Richard Larson.
He is survived by: his sister Geraldine Larson of Illinois; his children, Pamela Nagel of Berlin, Germany, Paul Liebig of Keyser, Carol Marsh (Timothy) of Buckhannon, WV, Dr. Craig Liebig and O. D. (Gail) of Bridgeport, WV; his daughter-in-law Delores Liebig of Bridgeport; his grandchildren, Jennifer Shanley (Tom), Teresa Lunsford (David), Stephanie Storti (John), Dr. Christopher Liebig (Julie), Janina McDaniel (David), Erica Liebig Pritts (Tim Fisher), Julie Beth Bosley (Devin), Dawn Liebig, Janee Dobbins (Christopher), Jesse Liebig and Traci Knabenshue (BJ); and his nephew Michael Redman. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren.
