He was predeceased by: his parent Harry Ross Smith Sr.; his former wife Virginia Lee Smith (Shook); and his siblings, Sarah Smith, Robert Dale Smith and Harry Ross Smith Jr..
He is survived by: his parent May Lorraine Smith (Michaels); his wife Mary "Rocky" Smith (Wright); his children, Kenneth Smith (Allison) of Keyser and Tam Self (Archie) of New Creek; and his brothers, Harold Smith (Margaret) of Barton, MD and Ronnie Smith (Kathy) of Topeka, KS.. He is also survived by four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
