With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Allamong (Keyser, West Virginia), born in Piedmont, West Virginia, who passed away on February 3, 2019 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Butler and Marguerite E. Butler (Welch); her husband Donald Welch Allamong; and her brother Richard "Dick" Butler. She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Royce (Mark) of Bruceton Mills, WV, Roger Allamong of Keyser and Tommy David Allamong of Keyser; her siblings, Gerald "Jerry" Butler of Keyser, Diane Lease of Ocala, FL, Margo Savage (Dennis) of Oakland, MD and Peggy Leatherman (E. A.) of Purgitsville, WV.; her grandchildren, Katherine Allamong, Benjamin Allamong, Holly Seguin (Shawn, Andrew Royce), Brittney Orndorff (Joe, Lindsey Favara) and Shelly Allamong; her great grandchildren, Anthony Favara, Roman Favara, Noah Crouse, Owen Davis, Harper Mae Orndorff, Mattis Seguin and Gage Orndorff; and her friend Glenn Workman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Barbara Dawn Allamong to Mineral County Public Library, 105 N. Main Street, Keyser, WV 26726 Friends will be received at the Markwood Funeral Home on Thursday, February 7, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 6:00 – 8:00pm.
