He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbey Fields and Rosabell Workman Fields; and his siblings, Emory Fields, Lewis Fields, Josie Block, Effie Marcum and Wilda Perry.
He is survived by: his children, Willie Fields (Georgia) of North Carolina, Rose Spurlock (Robert) of Dans Br, Kathy Spurlock (David) of Kermit, WV, John Fields (Loretta) of Williamson, WV, Charlotte Spurlock (Eugene) of Kermit, WV, Norma Fields, Jesse Messer of Kermit, WV and Effie Fields of Stepptown, WV. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and family and friends.
