She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Shortridge and Virgie Tramell Shortridge; her former husband Jimmy Edward Matney; her husband Andy Basil Cantrell; her son Randall Basil Cantrell; her siblings, Opal Mockenridge (Al), Lorraine Sparks (Estil) and Thurman Shortridge; her stepson-in-law Kenneth; and her stepson Donald Cantrell.
She is survived by: her son Michael Wayne Matney (Sharon) of Raven, VA; her daughters-in-law, Christina Cantrell of Kermit, WV and Teresa Cantrell Mullins of Richmond, VA; her stepdaughters, Connie Harris (Jim) of Harrisburg, VA and Nancy Cunningham (Donnie) of Pounding Mill, VA; her sisters, Pearl Chaffins (Ronnie) of Mouthcard, KY and Sophia Sisk; and her grandchildren, Anthony Cantrell, Davanna Matney, Aaron Cantrell, Andrew Cantrell, Alex Blankenship, Arabella Mullins, Emmalyn Cline, Lorelei Cline, Jeremiah Cline, Octavia Mullins, Jimmy Keen, Chris Keen and Daniel Cunningham. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
