It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sammy Spaulding (Kermit, West Virginia), born in South Williamson, Kentucky, who passed away on February 15, 2020, at the age of 32, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Lorie Vance Spaulding; and his grandparents, Thelma June Vance (May), Sam and Dorothy Spaulding. He is survived by: his grandfather Joe Vance; his father Donald Spaulding of Kermit, WV; his wife Rhayna Lynn Prater Spaulding; his sons, Gunner Lee Spaulding and Grady Isaac Spaulding; his brother Donald Isaac Spaulding (Kelly) of Kermit, WV; his nieces, Karlie, Kennedy, Kambree, Kazley and Kashlyn; and his parents-in-law, Brian and Charlene Newsome. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

In honor and remembrance of Sammy, donations can be made to the BB&T in support of his kids.
