He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Stamperd and Beulah New Stamperd; his daughter Shelley Shelley; and his siblings, Sheila Elkins, Drema New, Kathy Hensley, John L. Ferguson, Richard Lee Ferguson, Darrell Wayne Ferguson, George Thomas Ferguson, Arthur Henry Hatfield and Douglas Eugene Ferguson.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Dale Stamperd Jr. of Virginia, Christopher Stamperd of Kermit, WV, Jordan Stamperd of West Virginia, Kimberly Robinette of Ashland, KY, Drema Davis of Kermit, WV, Jessica Workman of Dingess, WV, Lisa Stamperd of Chapmanville, WV and Chrystal Hall of Ohio; his stepchildren, John Henry New of Warfield, KY and Donnie New (Biggins) of Warfield, KY; and his siblings, Donnie New of Warfield, KY, Ethel Spradlin of Williamson, WV, Rebecca Maynard of Williamson, WV and Sharon Kay Mullins of Varney, WV. He is also survived by 32 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
