It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Edward Castle of Kermit, West Virginia, born in Cabin Creek, West Virginia, who passed away on February 17, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Cain and Leo Pierce Castle; and his siblings, Paul Castle, Pierce Castle, Harry Castle, Roberta Holstein, Linda Kay Thorne and Carol Nutter.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Ann Sartin Castle; his children, Karen Stewart (John Reeve), Melissa Stepp (Michael) and Charles E. Castle, Jr. (Betty); his granddaughters, Brianna Marie Cline (Jacob), Katelyn LeAnn Odenthal (Jordan) and Haley Alexis Stepp; his great grandchild Waylon Drew Cline; and his sister Leona Simmons.
