He was predeceased by: his parent Ves Spaulding; and his siblings, Andy Spaulding, William Spaulding, John Spaulding, Gid Spaulding, Rosie Spaulding Fields, Polly Spaulding Porter and Margaret Spaulding Hodge.
He is survived by: his wife Mollie Maynard Spaulding; his children, Jason Spaulding (Amanda) of Marrowbone, WV, Samantha Spaulding of Beauty, KY and Barbara Ferguson of Warfield, KY.; and his great grandchildren, Keegan Potter, Anna White and Maryssa Salmons. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
