She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Frank" Hedrick and Gladys Lynette Sharp Hedrick; her husband Earl "PeeWee" Nelson; her sons, Johnnie Lee Nelson and Mark Allen Nelson; her siblings, Hubert L. Hedrick, Chester Hedrick, Bert Hedrick, Blair Hedrick, Otta Susan Ashby, Gertrude Carr and Annis Dell Combs; her granddaughter Amanda Dawn Nelson; and her close friend Phil Pownell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Ann "Patty" Kittle (Richard) of Elkins and Tammie Elaine Thompson (Richard) of Elkins; her siblings, Dale Hedrick (Frances) of Rivesville and Linda Canfield of Pheasant Run; her grandchildren, Chad Aaron Bartlett, Kristyn Lianne Mergenthaler, Ashley Layne Swecker (Matthew) and Erika Leigh Beckett (Zachary); and her stepgrandchildren, Shelly, Cindy, Douglas and Holly. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
