He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Robertson and Mary Robertson; his siblings, Rev. Elmer, Rev. Thelmer Robertson and Blanche Ward; and his siblings-in-law, Jim, Dick Ward, Baylous Chinn and Joyce Robertson.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Spry Robertson; his children, Kim Hensley (Jim) and Billy Robertson (Belinda); his grandchildren, Tara Barron (Carlos), Stefani Lovejoy (Clayton), Brandon Robertson and Tyler Robertson (Katie); his great grandchildren, Maddox, Carli Barron, Caid, Cash, Case and Sadie Lovejoy; his siblings, Ervin "Slats" Robertson (Sue), Gaye Ward and Glenna Chinn; and his sister-in-law Oneida Robertson.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sunshine Freewill Baptist Church (2111 James River Rd, Huntington, WV 25704). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
He was commissioned as a Kentucky Colonel on June 15, 1995, as an ambassador of goodwill and fellowship for his contributions to the community and the state.
