He was predeceased by: his parent Emmitt Harley; his siblings, Emmitt Harley "Brother" Daniels Jr., Richard "Dickie" Daniels and Marguerite Qualls; and his great grandchild Joshua Blair Jr..

He is survived by: his parent Bessie Boling Daniels; his wife Sarah Loar Daniels; his children, Pamela Bess Kennedy, Thomas Edward Daniels and Timothy Lee Daniels; his sister Wilma L. Ball; and his husband Kelly L. Albright (Chris). He is also survived by five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
