It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sadie Lois Akers of Kenova, West Virginia, born in Huntington, West Virginia, who passed away on November 15, 2020, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Jennings and Iva Mae McClanahan Sias; her husband C. J. Akers; and her sister Sharon Ann Sias Johnson. She is survived by: her son J. D. Akers (Deana); her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Isaac, Bryson Harrison and Case Akers; her brother Fred Sias (Chris); her sister-in-law Missy Chandler (Bob); her nephew Paul Chandler (Sheryl); her great-nephew Wade Chandler; her nieces and nephews, Josh Sias (Jessica), Julie Richmond (John) and Jackie Long (Aaron); and her close friends, Amy Reiter (Jim) and Billy Moretto (Crystal). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
