It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald W. Smith of Kenova, West Virginia, who passed away on January 21, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Smith and Reba Smith; his brother Jack; and his daughter Rhonda Jean. He is survived by: his wife Olive Shy Smith; his children, Todd Smith (Cheryl) and Shelly Meadows (Craig); his sister Pam Burcham; his siblings-in-law, Deb, Vernon Dale Shy, Pansy Whaley, Lola Gay Shy, Janice Shy, John and Brookie Maynard; and his grandchildren, Nathan, Levi Meadows, Abby Taggert (Nick) and Hannah Smith (Daniel). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice of Huntington in memory of Ronnie.
