He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Caldwell (Mart) and Florence Caldwell (Canteberry); and his siblings, Bernard Caldwell, Wavelle Spencer (Belle) and Marthette Caldwell.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Caldwell (Tipton); his daughter Sonya Hall (Stos) of Indian Land, SC.; his great grandchild Brandi (McGuire); his stepdaughter Peyton Elizabeth Browder; his stepgrandchildren, Margot Elliot Burns-Keffer, Arthur Leonard Burns-Keffer, Andy Burns (Taylor) of Huntington, WV, Lauren Hall (Jack Thedinga) of Florence, SC and Tyler Hall of Orlando, FL.; and also, Parker Arlington Houk, Ryland Matthew Houk, Piper Lee Browder, Erin Burns (Dave Keffer) of Washington, DC, Bennett David Burns, Emma Grace Burns, Phoenix Wilder Thedinga and Fallon Rae Thedinga. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
The family will honor Roger's wishes by not holding a funeral or memorial service and requests that no flowers be sent their way. Instead, a donation in memory of Roger Caldwell may be made to Hospice of Huntington at hospiceofhuntington.org under the "give" tab.
