With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martin S. Martinis of Kenova, West Virginia, who passed away on January 1, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Martin departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Martin may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Martin leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David J. Sr. Martinis and Jane Martinis; and his brothers, David Jr., Ronald and Donald Martinis.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine; his daughter Alexandria; and his siblings, Andrew Sr. (Vanessa), Michelle (Abel) and Perry.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Richard-Midway Funeral Home (5749 S Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60638). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
