She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis William and Margarette Lett Lyons; her husband James D. "Sonny" Burgess; and her brothers, Richard Lyons and Johnny Lyons.
She is survived by: her children, Timmy Burgess (Annie), Jason Burgess and Pam Burgess Plymale; her grandchildren, Brooke, Jayden, Nathan (Kaitlin), Sammy, Dane and Landon; and her great grandchild Campbell.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rollins Funeral Home (1822 Chestnut St, Kenova, WV 25530). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
