He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Nelson Sr. and Mary Eloise Marcum Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Jenny McGown Nelson; his sons, Darron Andrew Nelson (Kathy), Brad William Nelson (Julie) and Evan Lewis Nelson (Kyla); and his grandchildren, Andrea Riley Nelson, Garrett Cole Nelson, Parker Lewis Nelson, Piper Renee Nelson, Sherman McGown, II, Burman Allen Nelson, Tanner Adkins and Sarah Jude.
