He is survived by: his wife Roxie Akers; his children, Laura Swain (Steve), John Akers, Rhonda Akers and Heather Marzolf (Trevor); his grandchildren, Sarah Willis (Josh), Kristin Butler (Kevin), Amanda Hoschar, Shanna Perry (Jacob), Alexis, Olivia Imes, Cole and Blake Marzolf; his sister Margaret Boyd; and his brother-in-law Hazie Boyd. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kenova Church of Christ (1801 Chestnut St, Kenova, WV 25530). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
