With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jason E. Deitz of Kenova, West Virginia, born in Ashland, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 4, 2024. He was predeceased by: his mother Joyce Ann Deitz; his grandfather Charles F. Green Wechsler; and his pet Marco. He is survived by: his wife Debra J. Deitz; his stepson Derek Thaxton; his grandson Carter Max Thaxton; his parents-in-law, Harry Gillispie and Wanda Gillispie; his grandmother Lou Wechsler; his siblings, Joshua Deitz (Shelly), Ron Wechsler (Barb), Mike Wechsler (Kelli) and Angie Barker (Scott); and his pet Ace. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
