He is survived by: his wife Delores "Dody" Workman Smith; his children, George E. "Peewee" Smith, II (Kathy Riley), Doug Smith (Kim), Todd Smith (Missy) and Beth Gover (John); his grandchildren, Lakin May (Zev), Kelsey Wallace (Cody), Paige Smith, Tyler Smith (Olivia), Brooke Smith, Harrison and Hamilton Gover; his great grandchildren, Jaden May, Jemma May, Jorgi May and Maiara Smith; his sisters, Katherine Trivett and Peggy Ball; his nephew Matthew Workman; and his cousins, Marcella Canterbury and Wanda Wellman.
