With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Berlin Ray Meredith Sr. of Kenova, West Virginia, who passed away on March 11, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Columbus Meredith, Sr. and Nellie Leatrice Bellomy Meredith; his wife Carol Sue Hayton Meredith; his son Brian Keith Meredith; and his sisters, Dolores Smith and Pamela Meredith.
He is survived by: his son Berlin Ray Meredith II; his daughter-in-law Kathy; his brother Ben Meredith, Jr. (Carolyn); his grandsons, Joshua Meredith (Jeremy Pasha) and Keenan Meredith (Karison); his close friend Champ; his adoptive daughter Tina Sarver; and his nieces and nephews, Angie, Trey, Gabby, Dana and Jason.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Kenova United Methodist Church (503 15th St, Kenova, WV 25530). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. He loved spending time with them whenever possible and enjoyed a closer relationship with his oldest son, Berlin II. after the loss of his wife Carol and son, Brian during the Covid 19 epidemic.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to KUMC Outreach, Rollins Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
