He is survived by: his wife Teresa Marcum Meddings of Kenova; his children, Alicia (Jeremey Young), Timmy (Brooke Parsley), Chasity Taylor of Jacksonville, FL, Christi (Evan James) and Chase (Kristin Taylor); his aunts and uncles, Judy (Bob Riggs), Joan (Arvil "Babe" Maynard), Justine Trogdon and Alvie (Donna Gilliam); his grandchildren, Ryan, Faith, Samantha, Jeremey Wade "J. W." Young, Carson, Keegan, Emerson, Talon, Holland James, Clayton and Nixon Parsley; his siblings, Bobby Meddings, Alvie Pete Meddings and Angie Cripe of Dunlow, WV; his nieces and nephews, Terri Stamper, Stephen, Melanie Cripe, Kayley Cripe and Alvie Meddings, Jr.; his great-nephew Andrew Meddings; his great-nieces, Vara Cripe and MacKenzie Marcum; his siblings-in-law, Tom, Sherie Marcum and Tony Marcum; and his mother-in-law Jewell Marcum.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Johnson Tiller Funeral Home (10030 WV-152, Wayne, WV 25570). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
