He was predeceased by: his daughters, Denise Ann Bailes and Anitia Dawn Carey; his parents, Shelby Albert Olive and Icie Loraine Baldwin Olive; and his siblings, Marvin Al Olive, Merle Olive, Linda Drake and Patsy Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Olive (Carolyn M. Olive); his children, Melissa Lynn Young (Jerry) of Elkview, Meika Shawn Anglin (Hatch) and Rex Allen Olive (Robbye) of Clendenin; his stepchildren, John Wayne Wheeler of Middlesex, NC and Lori Ann Bryant (David) of Charleston; and his siblings, Frank Olive (Nancy) of Ga, Marie Bates and Mary Alice Delgado (Robert). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
