She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey Johnson and Ada Johnson (Kersey); her former husband Melvin Linneaus Smith; her husband Teddy Allen Harper; her siblings, Frankie Shamblin and Larry Johnson; and her grandson Matthew Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Lynn Dunbar (Roger), Lee Smith (Carla), Hobert "Ray" Smith (Barbara) and Gina Vance (Timothy); her grandchildren, Evan Dunbar (Colleen), Kristy Smith (Will) and Cheyenne Smith Chasity (Laura); her great grandchildren, Charlotte Dunbar, Mattie Smith, Noah Smith, Logan Vance, Gideon Vance, Londyn Dye, Garrison Dye, Penelope and Sawyer Smith; her siblings, Betty Ray, June Albright, Sue Smith, Patty Taylor and Hobert Johnson; her stepson Danny Harper (Lynn); her stepgrandchildren, Amanda Galwey (Rickie) and Teddy R. Harper; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Lillyan and Zoey Galwey.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donation be made in Marble's memory to Kanawha Hospice.
