Though James R. may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James R. touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his mother Clarsey Thomas (Kelly). He is survived by: his father James W. Thomas; his wife Thelma Thomas (White); his children, Denver "Buddy" Thomas, Katie Miller (Curtis) and Patricia Whittington (Randy); and his siblings, Delbert, Denny Thomas, Edna Coon and Faye Wolfe. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
