He was predeceased by: his parent Hadie Huffman Sayre; and his stepfather Clifford Sayre. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Gaye Huffman (Hunt); his son Lawrence E. Huffman (Alison); his grandson Brooks E. Huffman (Toni); his great grandchildren, Daxton and Crosby Huffman; and his grandchildren, John R. Steiner III, Jennifer A. Steiner and Joseph M. Steiner. He is also survived by many cousins and relatives.
