Curtis Raines Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Curtis Raines of Kenna, West Virginia, who passed away on April 2, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Daris and Dortholean Fields Raines; and his siblings, Larry and Darlene Raines. He is survived by: his wife Diane Thomas Raines; his children, Kathy Hamon (Bill) and Curtis Raines (Libby); his nieces, Joann Stephens and Christina Deal; his nephew Scott Casto (Lisa); his siblings, Brenda Nutter (Mike), Sue Thomas (Emory) and Woody Raines (Juanita); his grandchildren, Hallie Harpold (Billy), Curtis Allen Raines, Elizabeth Godbey (Daniel) and Hannah Hill (Collin); his great grandchildren, Eli Raines, Bailey Godbey, Payton Godbey, Grayson Godbey, Jaxyn Harpold, Layla Hill, Remmington Raines and Ryker Raines; and his granddaughter Lillian Hill.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Waybright Funeral Home (511 S Church St, Ripley, WV 25271). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
