Bernard Carroll Freeman Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bernard Carroll Freeman of Kenna, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 14, 2024 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Freeman and Olta Freeman (Dotson); his wife Faye Freeman; his siblings, Ervin Freeman (Judy), Roger Freeman (Yvonne) and Glenys Layne; his brother-in-law George Gourley; and his granddaughter Loretta McCormick.
He is survived by: his children, Dwayne Freeman (Sandra) of Kenna, WV and Susan McCormick (John) of Kenna, WV; his siblings, Reverend Benny Freeman (Linda) of Phelps, KY, Sandra Gourley and Ruby Smith (Eddie); and his grandchildren, Cassie Williamson (Cody), Caramie Freeman, Zach Freeman, Taylor Freeman (Erin), Micah Dotson, Gracie Freeman, Ryan McCormick (Christina), Krista McGrady (Ryan), Jonathan McCormick (Samantha), Breyanna McCormick and Amanda McCormick (Johnny Truman). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Gooslin Bottom Pentecostal Church. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Gooslin Bottom Church.
