He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Gray and Thelma K. Gray (Welch); and his siblings, Catherine Marcus and Johnny L. Gray. He is survived by: his siblings, Betty L. McHenry (Bob) of Shenandoah Junction and Harold S. Gray (Doris) of Ranson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
